Flight Information |
 |
Flight Length: Flights are approximately fourty five minutes to one hour long. However, we do require you for up to four hours for the entire adventure.
 Flight Location: All of our flights take place over the countryside in the York Region area, about an hour’s drive north
of downtown Toronto. Since we travel with the wind, our take-off location varies with the prevailing wind of that day. On the day of your flight, we will meet you at a location close
to the launch site and transport you in our vehicles to the launch area. At the conclusion of your adventure, we will return you to your vehicle.
 Flight Times: Hot Air Balloons fly close to sunrise and sunset, as this is the time when the air currents
are usually ideal. Therefore flight times vary with the seasons. As a rule of thumb, we usually meet a ½ hour before sunrise for our morning flights and 2 ½ hours before sunset for our evening flights.
 Flying Season: Our passenger flying season runs from the beginning of May until the end of October.
 Clothing: Although usual conditions predict comfortable in-flight temperatures, passengers should always be
prepared for occasional extremes. Always dress for the ground temperature as it may up to 10 degrees warmer in the balloon. Flat enclosed shoes (no sandals or open toe shoes) are mandatory and we recommend long pants for all passengers.
 Baggage: Due to limited space on board, no luggage, backpacks, purses, etc. are allowed. Safekeeping is provided for, in our vehicles.
 Gratuities: Gratuities for your Pilot and Crew are not included in your ticket pricing and should be extended on an individual basis.
 Reservations: To confirm your booking, we require a $50.00 deposit per passenger ($200.00 for Charter Flights). We accept Visa and MasterCard and are authorized to bill your account over the phone. The balance of your flight cost is due at the time of your flight. Early reservations are recommended.
 Cancellations: Regardless of the reason, cancellations, transfers to another date and other changes result in a costly process and therefore we cannot make an exception
to the following assessment: Loss of deposit if notice is received in our office 72 hours or less prior to the flight date. Flights cancelled by Skyworks for any reason receive a full refund, or the deposit may be applied against booking another date. In
the case of Gift Certificates, no refund is applicable, however the flight may be rescheduled to another date.
